Although the single-player Shipwreck level is an intriguing battleground, there are far too many chances for inexperienced players to fall into the water the multiplayer Bunker level is a much better environment for newbies, but you'll need to find a playmate. In print Worms 3D sounds great, a natural evolution to a hit series that is nearly a decade old (the first game was MS-DOS based), with a chance for it to be introduced to the console generation (but will probably still sell most for the PC - it was made for it), and in reality Worms 3D really does look set to be the best version ever.
